Schedules
Schedules are below for first and second year FISH meeting dates. Youth Mass dates are listed at the top of each schedule. Mass attendance is required for participation in the Confirmation Program. The goal of FISH to help young people strengthen their relationship with God. Mass is an integral part of that relationship. We encourge our youth to particpate in all aspects of worship such as our Music Ministry, Greeters, Ushers, and Lectors. Please email mansersvym@gmail.com if you wish to join any ministry.
Music Ministry
Our youth mass is anchored by our youth band under the direction of Ms. Nina Rangel Musicians and vocalists are encouraged to share thier gifts and talents in worship. New and experienced musicians are welcome. Please contact Ms. Rangel at nmrangel.music@gmail.com
Class Schedules

Class Schedules are structured to integrate into busy teen life schedules. FISH is a modified retreat and service based ministry. Classes are two hours, from 6:30 to 8:30 on designated Sundays. First and second year candidates will have retreat schedules built into the calendar, allowing more time for concentrated time together. Due to the concentrated schedule, Candidates are not permitted to miss more than two meeting dates. Missing more than two classes jeopardizes fulfilling your Confirmation requirement.

Service Component

Service is an intergral part of youth ministry. Pope Francis says,
" Dear Young People, the Church expects great things from you and your generosity."
Service to our community partners is very important to us and the people we serve. The Service Schedule Sign Up page on this site has the schedule of dates that we have committed to with our partners, The Interfaith Food Pantry, Homeless Solutions, The Borough of Morris Plains, and Bridges Outreach. When signing up for a service slot you are committing to that time and place. Our service partners and our ministry count on you being there.Please check your calendars carefully to avoid conflicts.
