St. Virgil Confirmation

Confirmation is the third "Sacrament of Initiation". It is the fortifying of the gifts of the Holy Spirit received at Baptism and First Eucharist and strengthened through Reconciliation. Confirmation is the sacrament by which Catholics receive a special outpouring of the Holy Spirit. Through Confirmation, the Holy Spirit gives them the increased ability to practice their Catholic faith in every aspect of their lives and to witness Christ in every situation. (Catholic Online)
It is a two year program  typically begun in grades 9 and 10, but open to other grades as well, regardless of where you attend high school.  The program consists of classes and retreats as well as mass attendance. The service requirement is 20 hours per year.
